With its compact shape and reduced depth, the AS-8 professional loudspeaker has been designed in a way that facilitates its architectural integration.

A coaxial 8″ bass-reflex speaker, the AS-8 stands out because of its high acoustic performance, which ensures great tonal precision and wide musical diffusion.

Used in synergy with the AS-S24 subwoofer, it will form a high performance sound system capable of very powerful sound.

Powerful, efficient, compact

A bass-reflex speaker, the AS-8 stands out through its high acoustic performance which ensures a great tonal accuracy as well as a wide musical diffusion. Made of aluminum to take advantage of the acoustic performance of this material, two wooden baffles complete the structure of the speaker, equipped with an 8″ coaxial driver.

Aesthetic and tailor-made integration

Like its smaller sisters, the AS-3 and AS-5, the AS-8 was designed to fully integrate into its location. With its rounded shape and shallow depth, it can be mounted discreetly on any plane

Designed to be used in combination with a bracket mount with two lateral attachment points, the speaker can be rotated +/- 90° when installed on its support.

For optimum integration into the most demanding of architectural spaces, the AS-8 can be customised in many ways:

• With a choice of finishes: baked powder-coating (frosted satin finish with a very fine texture and ultra-matt appearance) or rax aluminum.
• With a choice of colour for the enclosure and the hanging system: standard Black (RAL9011) or white (RAL9016), or customised with a choice of 200 RAL colours on offer.
• With a choice of front grille colour: 20 fabric colours available in addition to black and white.

AS-8, exclusive loudspeaker of the active acoustic systems Carmen and CarmenCita

The CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) has developed two active acoustic systems, Carmen and CarmenCita.
These systems allow the spectator to be immersed in a 3D sound space by adapting the acoustics according to the type of show. On the walls and ceilings, microphones and speakers are precisely positioned. The captured sound is processed with the addition of a reverberation, then sent back to the speakers. For each type of performance, a configuration is set during the installation phase to optimally adjust the reverberation time, the balance of timbres and the sound envelopment of the audience.

The AS-8, with its performance and its 100% French high-end design, is the obvious choice to guarantee the best sound quality for these systems. It is today the exclusive loudspeaker of the CSTB acoustic systems.
